Texas NABORS is a multi-disciplinary network of collaborators focused on advancing behavioral health outcomes, research and services in Texas. Executive directors of the network are Drs. Camilo Ruggero, Jennifer Callahan and David Cicero. Affiliated labs include:
The COMPASS of Psych (COMPutational ASSessment of Psychopathology) Lab at the University of Texas at Dallas seeks to improve the assessment and understanding of psychopathology. Our work is empirical and pragmatic, with an emphasis on how our research can improve the health of Texans.
Our mission is to identify and develop mechanisms for improvement of patient care and behavioral health outcomes, particularly among underserved and disadvantaged populations.
Texas Early Assessment Lab @ UNT
At the Texas Early Assessment Lab, the ultimate goal of our research is to improve our ability to identify, prevent, and treat psychosis. Second, our research aims to understand the mechanisms of psychosis risk.
The Center for Psychosocial Health Disparities Research (CPHDR) seeks to understand health disparities to promote psychosocial health. A primary focus is on the link between mental and physical health.
Sleep and Health in Everyday Life
Research Laboratory @ UNT
We assess people in their everyday environments, using non-intrusive surveys and ambulatory physiological assessments (e.g., actigraphy, EEG). The ultimate goal of our research is to understand the biopsychosocial risk factors that increase susceptibility to sleep disturbances, in hopes of identifying targets to improve individuals’ health and well-being.
Assessment, Measurement, Personality, and Psychopathology Lab @ SMU
Research in the AMPP lab focuses on measurement and assessment, structural models of psychopathology, and the validity of conceptualizations of clinical/health/personality constructs.
